Laura looked stunning and the church was beautiful. The ceremony was so nice. I especially liked all the personal touches that showed how well their minister knew them and really added extra sentimentality to the vows.
Shanti was so excited too. I don't think I've EVER seen him so excited and happy. Not even when we took him up to Wisconsin for a whole weekend of beer and cheese!
After the ceremony, Shanti and Laura were whisked away by pedicab to the Carleton Hotel for the reception.
The reception was beautifully decorated and the cake was so elegant. Our dinner was delicious and it was great to have the chance to catch up with old and new friends while we celebrated.
Everyone had so much fun at the reception. Here, Shanti and Laura's friends all gathered around while they danced. Don't they look great together?
We are so greatful that Matilda was invited to come along with us so we could both be there for this special day. Shanti and Laura are such a good match and we're lucky to have them close by. Congratulations again, hope you're having a great time on your honeymoon and we can't wait to see you when you get back--will Laura have a tan?
