This weekend we drove out to the farm in South Dakota to introduce Matilda to her great grandmother Shirley. Matilda did great on the drive, and had a wonderful time meeting her great-grandma and her great aunts and uncles!

I love this picture! Greatgrandma and Matilda look like they spent a moment of pure joy in each other that is not determined by how old each of them is! I'm sure my mom was very happy to meet her great granddaughter!
